CONGRATULATIONS LIANE LOCKWOOD, SUPER HERO AWARDS WINNER!

“We owe her everything, really. She is just phenomenal. We owe her Chloe’s life!” This is only part of the praise coming from Shelley Chappel, mother of six-year old Chloe who has been a patient at the Queensland Children’s Hospital since she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia as a toddler.

Chloe’s family nominated Chloe’s Oncologist Dr Lockwood for a Juiced TV Super Hero Award, supported by QSuper. The program recognises Queensland Children’s Hospital medical and support staff who selflessly dedicate themselves to the wellbeing of others.

On Friday 13 December Dr Liane Lockwood was announced as the fifth Super Hero Award winner. Mother Shelley expresses her gratitude: “Liane has been our oncologist for four and a half  years and she is nothing short of amazing. She has supported us through the original diagnosis, relapse, clinical trials – the lot. She has always been on hand when we have questions or concerns. Chloe has grown up knowing Liane. She has just looked after her like one of her own.”

With love, trust and care Dr Lockwood built up an unbreakable bond with Chloe and her family, which is now recognised and celebrated with the Super Hero Award – watch the heart warming journey between Chloe and Dr Lockwood by clicking the link below.

QSuper’s partnership and support allows Juiced TV to increase the positive impact the program has for kids and their families at the hospital, and also throughout regional hospitals across Queensland with the ‘Juiced Box’ mobile application.

Congratulations Dr Liane! If you have a Super Hero at the hospital, help us to give them the recognition they deserve by nominating them for Juiced TV’s Super Hero Awards.
